Zoo Conservation Project

At Stonehall Visitor Farm & Wildlife Park our conservation project is on an ongoing basis with the conservation of the Lessor Horse Shoe Bat.  This fantastic conservation project has seen the increase of the Lessor Horse Shoe bats  increase from 20 Bats in the year 2006 to an incredible increase to 81 Bats in 2012.  Annual inspections take place by our Bat experts to continously  monitor the numbers of the species where they reside in the preserved cottage in the Park.
