School tours
Stonehall Wildlife Park is a must for all students to enjoy a great day out with their class mates.
Stonehall Wildlife Park has 25 years of experience welcoming Schools to the Park so we know what teachers and children want and enjoy.
The students are given a fully guided tour of the exotic and domestic animals in the park which include Ostriches Emus Llamas Alpacas Meerkats Lemurs a variety of Birds of Prey and the domestic breeds from Sheep Ponies Ducks Geese. The small animals such as Chipmunks Bunnies Chinchillas and aviaries of beautiful birds can be viewed in an indoor area to mention but a few, it’s here where the students absorb all the information and take with them when they leave the park. So on the tour we want all the children to put on their bunny ears to absorb all this information.
Students and teachers bring a packed lunch with them where they can enjoy it in the indoor playarea which consists of a bouncy castle and ride on go karts. Teas & Coffees available for the teachers.
As we run a Green Farm Policy we request that the children take their waste rubbish home with them.
The cost of the tour is 13 euro per child. Teachers & Special needs assistants are free. Any additional adults or siblings are 13 euro.
Payment can be made on arrival to farm on the morning of the tour by cash/card or cheque, made payable to Stonehall Visitor Farm.
On arrival to the farm it is determined whether your group does the tour of the farm or play first by a member of staff due to facilitate other school groups on the farm.
