To help conserve Natures wildlife, native flora & fauna and to educate visitors to embrace & enjoy the experience of the setting.
In 1992 the Shanahan family purchased this beautiful rural setting running parallel to Curragh Chase Forest Park in, Kilcornan, Co. Limerick. This location offered a unique setting for a purpose built Wildlife park which has now developed from a pet farm into a wildlifepark/Zoo for families to experience fun, education within its natural Flora & Fauna.With dedication and the time frame of eight years the Shanahan Family open on the 11th June 2000 and now offer a very unique service for families, school tours birthday parties and special events that caters for both young and old.
